Hotel Copenhagen - When you stay at Hotel Opera you will find yourself right smack in the centre of the most interesting and cultural part of Copenhagen. From the hotel rooms you have a direct view to Det Kongelige Teater (The Royal Theatre), and if you are lucky you can get a glimpse of the actors or dancers when they arrive at the back entrance to prepare for tonight´s show. Further down the street you will find Kongens Nytorv (The Kings New Square) with Charlottenborg Kunstsamling containing one of the most interesting collections of modern art in Copenhagen. At the same time it is the home of the Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

But do not worry – we have not snatched it from Langelinie to decorate the hotel. Actually our statue is older than the one all the tourists are flocking to see and it was used by the artist Edvard Eriksen as a model for the real Little Mermaid.
