Hotel Opera is situated just a 2-minute walk from buses, the metro and the shopping on Strøget. In the hotel's entrance, you are welcomed by the Little Mermaid, in the form of one of the sculptures that were models for the original version on the waterfront on Langelinie.
Hotel Opera was built in 1869, and was a boarding house until 1950, when the buildings were converted into a hotel, giving it its characteristic classic English style.
Inside the hotel, its perfect location next to the Royal Danish Theatre is highlighted by photos of the actors who have stayed at the hotel over the years, as well as themed corridors with photos of contemporary actors, a music corridor and a ballet corridor, where you will find photos of the famous ballets.
